ACRE is bringing forward proposals to redevelop Pinewood Nurseries, transforming this previously developed (brownfield) site into a high-quality employment destination, improving its overall appearance and making more efficient use of land, while creating jobs during both construction and long-term operation, supporting the local economy.

To ensure the site can respond to changing business needs and be successfully delivered, we are seeking a flexible outline planning permission for a range of employment uses including industrial/logistics (B2/B8 use classes) and a data centre, with the end use being market-led.

ABOUT THE SITE

The Pinewood Nurseries site is to the north west of the Wexham Park Hospital and is accessed from Wexham Street.

The land is already in use and includes large existing industrial buildings, hard standing service yards, and areas of open storage. It currently comprises of mixed commercial uses such as the former Pinewood Nurseries, a timber merchant and areas of storage and hardstanding.

It is well screened by surrounding trees and vegetation limiting wider views into the site.

The site provides an opportunity for a much improved employment destination and avoids the need to build on open Green Belt land.
